Location & Access

Titusville sits on Florida's Space Coast on the northern end of Brevard County, adjacent to Kennedy Space Center. It's about 50 minutes from Orlando, 40–47 minutes from the Orlando airport, and 20–25 minutes from KSC via the NASA Causeway. Playalinda Beach is 20–30 minutes away.

Best Neighborhoods

North Titusville is most popular with space industry workers — close to NASA, SpaceX, and Blue Origin. Windover Farms is one of Rachel's favorites: acreage lots, custom-built homes, well-maintained HOA. West Titusville offers convenience and I-95 access with newer construction (Brickshire by Stanley Martin in the upper $300s–$400s). Central Titusville has Titus Landing (Target, Epic Theater, Hobby Lobby, Chipotle), historic downtown, and walkable areas.

South Titusville: Aerospace Workers' Favorite

South Titusville is the go-to for KSC/SpaceX/Blue Origin employees after the NASA Causeway improvements completed. Tacana Village at Verona by KB Homes (mid $300s–$400s+) is popular. The Shores at Tranquility is a new luxury development ($1M+) with premier river and rocket launch views.

Lifestyle

Titusville has everything from Chain of Lakes Park and rocket launch viewing sites to great golf courses (Lucita Golf, Great Outdoors Golf Club with camping). Parish Medical Center is the local hospital. Rocket launches happen multiple times per week — visible from throughout the city. Titusville offers more affordability than most of Brevard with genuine community character.

The Titusville Mall Redevelopment

The former Titusville Mall ($240M mixed-use redevelopment) is advancing — bringing hotels, apartments, assisted living, restaurants, retail, and medical office space. This will significantly reshape the city center over the next several years.
