If you've been researching new construction homes in Viera, Florida, the Hailey floor plan at Farallon Fields deserves a serious look. We recently got to tour this home with a client who just closed after a year-long build journey — and this one truly delivers on every level.
The Specs: 3,021 Sq Ft of Thoughtfully Designed Space
The Hailey is a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home with just over 3,021 square feet, a flex space, and a 2-car garage. It sits on the 55-foot released lots in Farallon Fields — one of Viera's most talked-about new construction communities. Water views are available depending on the lot you select, and the lot selection process is one of the most important decisions you'll make in the building process.
It's worth noting that while we toured this home in the Pangia section, the interior layout of the Hailey is the same throughout Farallon Fields — only the exterior elevation changes between neighborhoods.
The Kitchen: Storage That Actually Impresses
The kitchen in this particular home was upgraded to the Gourmet Kitchen option from Viera Builders — a structural upgrade that adds a professional-grade range setup instead of the standard slide-in range and microwave-over configuration. Beyond the appliances, what stands out is the sheer amount of storage. The home management center, the pantry, and the cabinetry throughout give this kitchen a level of functionality that's hard to find in homes this size.
The floors throughout are a beautiful wood-look tile — a popular choice in Florida for durability and style.
The Enclosed Patio & Impact Windows: Worth Every Dollar
This client chose the enclosed patio upgrade — and with a lake view like this one, it was an easy call. Pair that with impact windows throughout, which in this collection runs approximately $3,000–$4,000 extra, and you have a home that's both beautiful and storm-ready. No panels, no plywood — just flip your shutters and go. It's one of the upgrades we recommend to every client who can fit it in their budget.
The Owner's Suite: A "Party Shower" and Smart Layout
The primary suite is generous in size with three windows bringing in natural light and a direct lake view. The bathroom features what we call the "party shower" — an oversized walk-in shower you have to see to appreciate. You can customize everything from tile height to rain heads, handheld attachments, and additional shower heads during the design process.
A standout feature is the laundry room pass-through — you can walk directly from the owner's closet into the laundry room, keeping everything connected and convenient.
The Downstairs Guest Suite: Perfect for Family
One of the most practical features of the Hailey is the downstairs guest suite — a full bedroom with its own bathroom and closet on the main floor, completely separate from the owner's suite. For families with parents or relatives who visit often, or for households with multigenerational needs, this suite provides real privacy and independence. We're seeing more and more buyers from out of the country relocating to the Space Coast with family members who stay long-term — and this feature is a game-changer for them.
The Flex Space & "Harry Potter Room"
Between the main living area and the guest suite, the Hailey includes a flex room that works beautifully as a home office, school room, or quiet retreat. Double doors give it a polished, defined feel without closing off the floor plan.
And under the stairs? What clients affectionately call the "Harry Potter room" — a surprisingly large storage space that families have turned into playrooms, dog rooms, and reading nooks. It's one of those features that sounds small but buyers love once they're living in the home.
The Upstairs: Kids' Loft & Secondary Bedrooms
Upstairs, the Hailey delivers an open kids' loft — a shared hangout space that keeps the mess, the overnights, and the friend visits neatly separated from the main living areas downstairs. Two generously sized secondary bedrooms share a full bath. There's also great storage throughout the upper level, including a dedicated closet and a second AC unit.
What a Real Client Said
The client who closed on this home found Rachel on YouTube — watching videos about the Space Coast while researching the area from out of state. After reaching out, they spent a year working through the build process together: attending design appointments, meeting with inspectors, touring multiple communities and lots before landing on Farallon Fields. As they put it: "Everything fell into place. And aren't you happy you went for Pangia?" — "Yes, I'm happy I didn't wait — or else we would not have been able to get this lot."
One Important Reminder: Identify Your Agent Before You Visit the Builder
It's a common misconception that going directly to the builder saves you money. It doesn't. The builder has their own representation — and you deserve yours. If you walk into a builder's sales office without a registered agent, you may lose the right to use one. Reach out before you visit any model home.
