Dinner at Cafe Paradiso & A1A River Views
Greg and I headed up to downtown Titusville for dinner this week because his old boss was in town vacationing — and they’re friends of ours too — so we made it a little date night.
And when we’re going to dinner in Titusville, there’s one place I almost always choose.
Cafe Paradiso.
The Drive Down A1A
One of my favorite parts about heading toward Titusville is driving along A1A.
It runs right along the Indian River, and the views never get old. You get water on one side, little parks along the shoreline, boats passing by, and that calm river breeze. It’s one of those drives that reminds you why living on Florida’s Space Coast is so special.
If you’re relocating here and wondering what everyday life feels like — this is it. Casual, scenic, relaxed.
Easy Parking & Walkable Downtown
When we got into downtown Titusville, we parked in the free community lot right in the center. It makes everything super walkable.
Right nearby you have:
-
Local shops
-
Bars and restaurants
-
Spas
-
Live music
-
And the historic Titusville Playhouse
Fun fact — our real estate office is right by there too, which I always love pointing out when we walk past.
Downtown Titusville has this small-town charm where you can park once and just wander.
Dinner at Cafe Paradiso
Cafe Paradiso is one of my favorite restaurants in Brevard County. It has this eclectic, New Orleans vibe that feels different from anywhere else in Titusville.
They specialize in New Orleans-style cuisine, and it never disappoints.
I ordered the same chicken thigh dish I got last time because it was that good. I couldn’t even find the name on the menu when I sat down — it’s toward the back pages — but I already knew what I wanted.
Greg ordered the chicken gumbo, which is always a safe bet.
We also started with margaritas — mine was passion fruit (I think), and it was delicious.
And then dessert happened.
We both ordered crème brûlée. We’ve officially decided we’re never sharing crème brûlée again. We both love it too much and end up fighting over the last bite. So now we just order two.
No regrets.
Live Music & That Downtown Energy
There was live music playing while we were there, which just adds to the atmosphere.
After dinner, we went for a walk through downtown Titusville at night. You could see:
-
People sitting outside restaurants
-
Musicians playing
-
Tattoo shops lit up
-
Bars with small crowds
-
Couples out on dates
It was a Thursday night, and it had that perfect balance — lively, but not overcrowded.
That’s one thing I love about Titusville. It has energy without chaos.
Why Downtown Titusville Is Underrated
Titusville often gets overlooked compared to some other Space Coast cities, but downtown has really grown.
Between the river views, the Playhouse, the local dining scene, and the walkability, it’s such a nice option for:
-
Date nights
-
Casual dinners
-
Meeting friends
-
Or just walking around after work
And you’re still close to Kennedy Space Center, the beaches, and everything else the Space Coast offers.
Thinking About Moving to Titusville?
If you’re considering relocating to Titusville or anywhere along Florida’s Space Coast, my partner Nichole, a lifelong Brevard County native, and I help buyers every single week navigate both resale and new construction.
Downtown Titusville living feels very different from master-planned communities in Viera or waterfront homes in Merritt Island. It just depends on what lifestyle you’re after.
Between Nichole’s deep local knowledge of Brevard and my relocation experience, you get both perspectives — whether you’re buying your first home here, building new construction, or making a move from out of state.
If you’re exploring your options, call, text, or email us anytime.
We’ve got your back.
See you on the next one.

Looking north?
North Brevard is the most affordable part of the Space Coast. We can tell you what that actually means.
We are Rachel and Nichole, Brevard County REALTORS at Blue Marlin Real Estate. We work Titusville, Mims, and Port St John every week. We know the SpaceX wage effect, the older infrastructure tradeoffs, and which streets are actually a fit for relocation buyers versus the ones that look better on major online listing platforms than they live.

The sales rep works for the builder, not for you. Builders let you have your own agent, but you HAVE to name us on your first visit. Walk in without us and you can lose the right to bring us in on that purchase.
Text us at 321-212-7676 first. We meet you there. You still get the new construction. You also get two REALTORS who negotiate pricing, contract terms, inspections, and repairs every week.
