How far is each Brevard city from Orlando International Airport (MCO)? Plus the alternative Melbourne Orlando International (MLB) right in the middle of Brevard.
Distances are via SR-528 (the Beachline). Add tolls of about $5-$7 each way.
Add 15-20 minutes for traffic during peak hours and Friday afternoons. Subtract 5-10 minutes overnight or early morning.
Right in the heart of Brevard sits Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB), often a faster and easier option than driving to MCO. MLB has a smaller list of direct routes (mainly American to Charlotte and DFW, Delta to ATL, and seasonal carriers) but the airport itself is much easier to navigate, parking is cheap, and security lines are short.
From Suntree: 10 min. Viera: 15 min. Cocoa Beach: 25 min. Palm Bay: 20 min. Most Brevard buyers can reach MLB in under 30 min.
Direct flights to Charlotte (American), Atlanta (Delta), DFW (American). Easier connections through hubs. Worth checking before defaulting to MCO.
If MCO and MLB do not work, two more options are within reach: Daytona Beach International (DAB) is about 75-90 minutes from north Brevard with regional service. Tampa International (TPA) is about 2-2.5 hours west, often with cheaper fares than MCO and a much larger international network.
If frequent travel matters to you, Brevard is set up well. MCO with the most options 60-90 minutes away. MLB right in the middle of the county for direct routes. Most relocation buyers find the airport access better than they expected.
Lets find a Brevard town that works around airport access for your family or work travel.
