Lake Washington is the largest lake in Brevard County at roughly 4,362 acres, about four miles by one mile and ten to fifteen feet deep, and it is part of the St. Johns River chain. The character out here is rural and large-lot rather than subdivision, and it changes noticeably the further west you go.
