One of the things we love most about living on Florida's Space Coast is how seriously people take their farmers markets. Year-round sunshine means year-round produce, and that means real markets, not just seasonal pop-ups. Whether you just moved to Brevard County or you've lived here for years and want to expand your Saturday routine, this is your 2026 guide to the best farmers markets up and down the Space Coast.

Melbourne Main Street Market

When: Thursdays, 3 to 6 pm
Where: Historic Downtown Melbourne, along Main Street
Best for: After-work browsing, local restaurants nearby

This weekly market transforms Downtown Melbourne into a mini street festival. You'll find Florida-grown produce, fresh seafood from Space Coast fishermen, local honey, baked goods, handmade soaps, and plenty of food trucks. After you shop, grab dinner at one of the downtown restaurants or walk to Crane Creek to watch the manatees. Great for families, couples, and dog walkers.

Eau Gallie Arts District Market

When: Second and Fourth Saturday of each month, 10 am to 2 pm
Where: Eau Gallie Arts District (EGAD), Melbourne
Best for: Art lovers, coffee people, makers

The EGAD market leans a little different from the others, blending farmers market staples with local artists and makers. You'll see watercolors, pottery, jewelry, and vintage finds alongside produce and pastries. Foxtail Coffee is next door, and the street murals are worth the trip on their own. If you've never been to Eau Gallie, this is your excuse.

Brevard Zoo Farmers Market at Viera

When: Saturdays, 9 am to 1 pm (seasonal, typically October through May)
Where: The Avenue Viera, 2261 Town Center Avenue
Best for: Families, new-to-Viera buyers wanting to meet neighbors

This is the most family-friendly market on the Space Coast. Great produce selection, prepared foods, kids' activities, and sometimes live music. Because it's at The Avenue, you can pair it with brunch at one of the restaurants and some shopping. It's a favorite with our Viera, Suntree, and Rockledge clients.

Cocoa Village Farmers Market

When: Sundays, 10 am to 2 pm
Where: Historic Cocoa Village, Riveredge Boulevard
Best for: Sunday mornings, waterfront vibes

Historic Cocoa Village is one of the prettiest places on the Space Coast, and the Sunday market takes full advantage. You'll shop steps from the Indian River with breezes coming off the water. Local farms bring citrus, tropical fruits, vegetables, plus there's always a strong showing from local bakers and plant sellers. Grab breakfast at Ossorio or The Village Idiot Pub afterward.

Cocoa Beach Farmers Market

When: Saturdays, 10 am to 2 pm (seasonal)
Where: Shepard Park, 299 E Cocoa Beach Causeway
Best for: Beach days, tourists and locals alike

Cocoa Beach's market runs out of Shepard Park, right at the base of the causeway. It's a natural stop if you're spending a Saturday at the beach. Expect seafood, produce, tropical plants, and a lot of small-batch vendors selling everything from dog treats to hot sauce. Parking can be tight, so arrive early.

Titusville Welcome Center Farmers Market

When: Saturdays, 9 am to 1 pm
Where: 419 S Hopkins Avenue, Titusville
Best for: North Brevard residents, space history fans

A smaller, more relaxed market with a strong local following. Produce, baked goods, plants, and often citrus from North Brevard groves. Titusville's market has a genuinely small-town feel, and it pairs well with a morning drive to Playalinda Beach or Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.

Palm Bay Farmers Market

When: Saturdays, 9 am to 1 pm
Where: Bayfront Community Center, 640 Community College Parkway SE
Best for: South Brevard residents, affordable produce hauls

Palm Bay's market is a workhorse. You come here to fill your reusable bags with produce, seafood, and bread for the week at reasonable prices. It's especially strong for tropical fruits in season, which is one of Florida's underrated perks.

Indian Harbour Beach Market

When: First Saturday of the month, 9 am to 1 pm
Where: Nance Park, 2748 Atlantic Street
Best for: Beachside residents, ocean views

A once-a-month event that draws strong crowds from Satellite Beach, Indian Harbour Beach, and Indialantic. You're literally a few steps from the ocean. Smaller footprint than the big weekly markets but the quality is high and the setting cannot be beat.

Downtown Titusville Seafood and Farmers Market

When: Second Saturday of the month, 9 am to 1 pm
Where: Sand Point Park, Titusville
Best for: Fresh seafood, waterfront strolls

If fresh local seafood is your priority, this is the one. Shrimp, fish, and stone crab from Space Coast and Indian River Lagoon sources. Sand Point Park sits right on the river with views of the Kennedy Space Center, and if you're lucky, you can time your trip with a rocket launch.

Seasonal and Rotating Markets

A few smaller markets pop up seasonally or rotate location. Keep an eye on Satellite Beach, Rockledge, and West Melbourne local event pages, because several neighborhood markets have launched in 2025 and 2026 as food trucks and small growers gain traction here. Nextdoor and the city websites are usually the best place to confirm dates before you drive.

A Few Tips From Locals

• Bring cash. Most vendors accept cards, but cash lines move faster and some small growers are cash-only.
• Bring your own bags. Reusable bags or a wagon make the difference after you've bought more than you meant to.
• Come early for produce, late for discounts. The best tomatoes, strawberries, and microgreens sell out by 11. The best discounts come in the final hour.
• Ask what's local. Not everything at every Florida farmers market is Florida-grown. Ask where it was picked if it matters to you.
• Bring sunscreen and a refillable water bottle. This is Florida. Even the cool-season markets can feel warm by midday.
